Olympic showjumper Canturo in 2005 was the #1 ranked Holsteiner stallion by WBFSH, #2 in 2006. In 2004 after winning the Queen Elizabeth II Cup Qualifier at Spruce Meadows Canturo competed in Athens Olympics with Brazil's Bernardo Alves.
Grand Prix winner at Aachen, La Coruna and numerous other International venues. Son Canto was the 2004 Champion stallion at the Neumunster approvals and stands at the Holsteiner Verband. Son Canturano won the '06 German 30 day test and has joined the Eurocommerce showjumping team.
Canturo offspring sell for 6 and 7 figures. Canturo, double Cor de la Bryere, produces very flashy modern foals with extraordinary jumping abilities and gaits. Stem 162 produced the 1998 Holsteiner approvals winner Carlsson G, foundation sires Carthago, Cascavelle and many top level International sport horses.
Last son of the legendary Cantus, his damsire Calando was the German Champion in 1984 with Karlsten Huck. The line traces to Landego (Landgrof - Marlon xx - Ramzes to Pannierxx and Manometerx.
I predict that Canturo will become one of the most famous jumping sires of this decade. His offspring jump spectacularly from birth.
